Fashion’s Night Out was an amazingly fun and exciting event. It was like the Halloween of fashion – Madison and Fifth Avenues were filled with fabulous fashionistas stopping in at events all over the city from Bleecker Street to Barneys.
I started the night at Henri Bendel where I got to chat with Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman, my fashion icon! It was like talking to Jesus, only with better hair. The photo below is me, Eric and my good friend Brian. I wore a Nanette Lepore cardigan and dress with a gold Marc Jacobs Stam bag, and Eric crowned me with this pretty pink headband!

After we left Henri Bendel, we headed to Saks where Justin Timberlake was promoting his William Rast line on the fifth floor. It was packed with fans and fashionistas but Justin unexpectedly passed through the crowd with his body guards. In passing, I said, “Hi, Justin!” and he looked right at me and said “Hi, how are you?” It was pretty awesome.
My final stop of the night was the Juicy Couture flagship store on 52nd street. I chatted with an editor from New York Magazine’s Cut blog as well as Juicy Couture co-designer Gela Nash-Taylor and I proclaimed my love for the brand and how I stop by the store if I’m having a bad day.

Also in attendance were Vogue’s Grace Coddington and Hamish Bowles, who performed a few songs for the attendees. I had a great spot on his right and got a close-up look at his impeccably tailored suit, complete with pink rhinestone buttons on his shirt underneath. I also spotted handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff but didn’t get a chance to talk with her. It was rumored that Anna Wintour was going to make an appearance but I didn’t see her.
