Introducing Elite Gossip Girl Style
January 29, 2009 — KimberlyI apologize for not posting much over the past few days! A few fellow GGers and I decided to start our own version of the Gossip Girl Style community. We wanted to be able to post our finds right away without having to wait for approval (since things on ebay tend to disappear quickly) and kind of weed out other posts about imitation headbands and stuff. Or that’s just me. Idk. I hope you find Elite GG Style a really helpful guide to finding the exact clothes from the show, preferably on sale.
Elite GG Style will be for posting things that have already been identified and where to buy them as well as posting when things go on sale or pop up on eBay. I havent’ figured it all out just yet, but I think the GG posts I’ll put on here will more be about looking for things for you and recent finds.

Spotted: Blair Waldorf Clothes on Super Sale!
January 24, 2009 — KimberlyThe most important sighting I had today at Saks was the Nanette Lepore Lucky Stars cardigan – in WHITE!!! OMG. It is SO so pretty. I thought maybe it was leftover from last season but it’s full price, so I guess she basically re-released it. I haven’t seen it anywhere else though. Added to sale-stalking list! The purple one is super soft, comfortable and gorgeous! The purple one is $97.50 right now at ShopBop - you’re in luck if you’re a L!
Neiman Marcus definitely restocked their sale racks. I noticed a lot more sizes and styles since the last time I was there. Plus, now all the sale items are an ADDITIONAL 50% off. I saw two Alice + Olivia jabot dresses in size L for $230 so now they are $115.
There are two red Blair Catherine Malandrino dresses (sizes 6 and 8).
There are also a whole bunch of DVF Nueva jackets in both black and navy.
Also, at Scoop in Greenwich, CT, there are two Marc by Marc Jacobs Etta sweaters in sizes S and L for $299.

January 20, 2009 — KimberlyI just read it on InStyle.com. Damn, how did they know Blair’s jacket was Brooks Brothers? I think they have some kind of inside source since they have the best IDs.
I need the pink jacket! If you find a link, please let me know ay-sap. They didn’t specify if it’s M Missoni or just regular Missoni. I don’t care. I need it!

January 18, 2009 — KimberlyI didn’t think much of the bag until I tried it on at the store today. Major sticker shock at $2395, but it’s so fabulous… it even comes with a shoulder strap. This picture is from tomorrow’s episode, You’ve Got Yale. I’m pretty sure Blair’s blazer is from Brooks Brothers from the springtime.

Blair’s Lady Dior Bag Now Comes in a Makeup Palette!

How cute is this palette? It comes on a keychain in the shape of the Lady Dior bag Blair has been wearing on Gossip Girl. It’s $95 and includes a lip/cheek tint and face highlighter. I saw it in People StyleWatch!

Spotted: Serena (and me) in DVF

This picture is from Gone with the Will, next week’s Gossip Girl. I wanted to put up a bigger picture of this dress Serena has on because I suspected it was DVF and found it today at Saks! It comes in a gorgeous fuschia/hot pink as well but they didn’t have my size. It was originally $455 and is now $177.90 so I bought it! I can’t find any links online but if you really want it you can always call the store and order one!

So I know you might be thinking that between the Joie dress below and the black Nanette Lepore cardigan and the DVF hoxer sweater and the like six pairs of Express leggings and skinny pants I am buying enough black to go to daily funerals. Know that I am in mourning for my former life. A life in which I had the time an energy to exercise daily and felt comfortable wearing a dress without Spanx. Thankfully for me, I think people are starting to realize that dressing too sexy and showing a lot of skin is vulgar and should be frowned upon. But I feel most comfortable wearing black for its slimming effects, though I will never give up wearing hot colors. Did I mention that I got the DVF wonder woman dress? And I just found the DVF hoxer sweater in pink! Oohh..
