One of the things I’m most excited about for Gossip Girl’s third season is Jenny’s evolution stylewise. Will she dress like a latter-day queen bee a la Blair, a girly punk rocker, or something else altogether? I think she might mix the two. If she chooses to stick with high-end labels, these bags by Alexander McQueen and Alexander Wang would be perfect for toting her books to and from Constance.

So the Alexander Wang Coco duffel I posted about in February is officially the “It bag” of fall 09. It’s sold out almost everywhere, although I did see a girl on the subway with one this week who said she ordered hers from Barneys. It is totally gorgeous in real life – very rocker chic, but still wearable for a regular girl as well. What do you think of this denim version currently available at ShopBop?

I discovered this great blog called In The Olsens’ Closet with lots of candid shots and IDs of Mary-Kate & Ashley’s clothes. I don’t love all of their outfits, but I love to browse through them anyway. It’s fun to study other people’s style to get new ideas. I really love this Alexander Wang bag. I’ve been thinking about it all day. It’s from his Fall 09 line and will be available in August.

I seriously need this jacket. This is the look Alexander Wang contributed to the Barbie 50th Anniversary fashion show this week. The only one I can find is this cut-out jacket at Barneys.com but I don’t think it’s The One. I guess if it’s on runways now, it won’t be available until the fall. I’m excited.

I think the key to this look is limiting your neon to one piece of clothing or one accessory to avoid looking all 1980s – don’t wear like a hot orange patent belt and shoes at the same time – ick!
