I was going to write like five more want it need it love it posts for Fendi’s clothes – I’m becoming way too obsessed with them! My favorite aspect of Fendi’s designs are their shapes and silhouettes. The tailoring is unmatched by any other designer I’ve seen, making them all investment pieces that will come into style every few seasons for the next few years. My favorite things right now are:
The twill bow jacket. I could picture myself wearing this to work at a fashion magazine in London, especially since the color is called Fog :)

$1940.
Sleeveless ruffle blouse:

$1060.
Cashmere blend elongated sweater:

$1600.
Multi-tiered flapper dress. I think this works well for day or evening because it’s both conservative and flirty.

$1542.
Bow-front blouse. Again, you can get similar pieces anywhere, but it’s the original and impeccable tailoring that sets the label apart.

$840.
Collarless white coat. Jackie O meets Kate Moss. Plus the gold buttons are a great touch.

$1512.
Shortened wool trench: a classic piece with an updated modern shape. Click to view more detailed pictures – it’s hard to see since it’s all black.

$2185.
The odds of me owning a Fendi piece from the current season are zip. To be honest, I am probably more likely to be struck by lightning than to get a Fendi dress. However, one day, if the heavens decide to smile down on me, perhaps I will find a classic piece in my size in an outlet about four years after its release on the market. I’d be totally happy with that.
