It’s amazing! Read it! One of the main characters, Lola, is a perfectly satirical example of today’s (my) generation. Candace Bushnell is a genius. I can only hope to one day write like her.

I discovered this line through Gossip Girl and also because it’s right next to Alice + Olivia in Saks and Bloomingdale’s. I have one Milly item – the green & white dress from Gossip Girl. Blair Waldorf wears a lot of Milly. You can find the biggest Milly collection at Bergdorf’s 5F. I feel like their clothes are designed for more petite people. If it looked good on me, I would totally wear this dress. I felt sad when I saw it on the sale rack at Saks. I wanted to take it home with me. I dreamt about dresses like this when I was little.
According to Wikipedia, not only will there be EIGHT Pretty Little Liars books, but #6, Killer, comes out on June 30, and A TV SERIES IS IN DEVELOPMENT! This is huge if you are a fan of Pretty Little Liars. And if you aren’t, you will be! I am adding PLL #6 to the new releases book calendar.
I am so SO excited! The suspense is killing me. Speaking of which, the whole point of me pre-ordering book 5 online was so that I would have it BEFORE its release date, not be told by Barnes & Noble that it isn’t being sent until tomorrow. That’s ok, I still have to finish One Fifth Avenue.
I am nearly done with One Fifth Avenue by Candace Bushnell and it’s SO good! Read it. You will LUH-V it! I love reading about society types and super rich people. Like I said, poor people are everywhere.
I want to read right now instead of watch tv. Or go on facebook. Or shop online. I need my laptop back to do that effectively though. Seriously, though. What a great book!
Except I HAD to know who got elimitated on Paris. Bye-bye, Shelley and Corrie. I will be TOTALLY SHOCKED if Vanessa doesn’t win. The only thing that makes me think she won’t is that in the previews, they make it seem like she’ll win. But with this show, usually the opposite happens.
A terrible, horrible, laptop-crippling virus!
Otherwise I would totally be posting more. So I’m on a DESKTOP computer… how stone age!
It’s been a pretty crazy few days, especially with the Gossip Girl shoots (and the creepy people that kept showing up) Thursday, Friday and Monday. (I mean, would YOU be able to accomplish anything if you knew that Chace Crawford was within a 100 yard radius of your location at any given moment? Exactly.)
I have a full DVR queue, a loaded bookshelf and a huge stack of fashion magazines to devour. Thanksgiving weekend is coming. People from all over AKA my BFF are coming home for the holiday and, natch, Black Friday is fast approaching! I want to check which items from my internet browser wish list are on sale, but I can’t until my computer is fixed. There is nothing sadder than a missed shopportunity.
